Instructions for students to update Chrome OS:

1. Log into the Chromebook with their Google account.
2. Click on the time in the bottom right corner.
3. Click on the Gear (settings) icon.
4. Click "About Chrome OS" at the bottom of the left-hand list.
5. If a button appears that says "Check for Updates," click it, wait for it to update, and then click "Restart." If the "Check for Updates" button does not appear, that Chromebook is already updated, and no further action is required.
